George remained in Missouri when his father moved to Arizona. George Wesley's family was unfortunate in that five of the nine members of his family contracted tuberculosis. After contracting the disease, George and two of his daughters moved west to Arizona, where his family was. George was the first to die there because of the disease, in 1901.

Because of the information below I (Bill Rowe) believe that 1 of the 2 daughters that went to Arizona with George is Audrey May.

Brief Life History of Audrey May

When Audrey May Dickinson was born on 22 October 1884, in Lawrence, Missouri, United States, her father, George Wesley Dickinson, was 32 and her mother, Mary Jane Mooney, was 30. She lived in Pierce Township, Lawrence, Missouri, United States in 1900. She died on 13 March 1902, in Arizona, United States, at the age of 17.
