The many friends of Ralph Dickinson will be sorry to learn of his death, which occurred from influenza yesterday afternoon at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alf Dickinson. Ralph left with a Navajo county contingent several weeks ago to work in the government munition plant at Nitro, W. Va., returning to Flagstaff from that place sick with the disease some three weeks ago. For a time he seemed to improve but in the last day or two grew worse, until the end came. Ralph was a graduate of the Northern Arizona Normal school and was only married about four months ago, and leaves, besides his wife and parents, many relatives to mourn his death. This is the second son in this family to die within the past week. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock.

“Don” Dickinson Dead.

Roland Brice Dickinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alf Dickinson, died Saturday and was buried Monday morning in the cemetery south of town. He was 18 years of age. He contracted influenza, which developed into pneumonia, after the Winslow-Normal football game in Flagstaff on September 28. “Don,” as he was known, was a quiet young man, a student of the Normal, and well-liked by those who knew him. The family, who are also sick at this time, have the sympathy of the community.
